EduTracker WSIS : FAQs Trial

1. Why should your school sign up for a trial?
Implementing a trial at your school is the best way for administrators, teachers, parents and students to experience how EduTracker empowers your community. The community will experience first hand how EduTracker creates multiple channels for parent-school communications, provides parents with access to timely and accurate information, and fosters a teacher-parent partnership.

2. How are trials implemented?
Trials are implemented once a trial agreement form is signed by authorized personnel at your school. Trials typically last for a period of three months and there is no obligation to purchase our system if the school is not completely satisfied.

3. Who pays for the costs associated with implementation?
EduTracker.Net bears the vast majority of the costs to establish a trial at your school. There is no charge for costs of data entry and validation. Further, there is no charge for the time and travel expenses of our staff to personally visit your school to train key personal involved in evaluating the system during the trial period. In return, EduTracker.NeT asks that each school pay a nominal fee for implementation that is refundable to the school upon the purchase of our system.

4. When are the deadlines for signing up?
Your school can sign up for a trial at any time. Ideal times are normally at the beginning of a new marking period.

5. Who loads the data into the system?
EduTracker.NeT personnel enter all data associated with the group selected to evaluate the EduTracker product. This includes, but is not limited to, user profile information and their courses and classes. Once the data is loaded, we generate usernames and passwords for users to access the system. This alleviates the burden of establishing a trial from being placed on a school's staff.

6. Will members of the school receive technical support during the trial?
Technical support is provided to your school's technology director via email or by calling us toll free. Support is given to all other system users indirectly by channeling all questions through the technology director.

7. How long will it take before we may start using the system?
Once the data is made available to us, we can have it uploaded and tested for integrity purposes within a two week time frame. Prior to the trial going live, EduTracker.NeT personnel will need to schedule time to conduct in person training for the teachers and administrators participating in the trial. Training is typically conducted over a two day period and scheduled so that teachers and administrators are not interrupted from performing their usual duties.
