- Information stored within EduTracker is automatically backed up on a daily basis
- The server, database, and EduTracker itself are all password protected
- Sensitive data is encrypted when it is stored into the database
- Internal security mechanisms prevent data from being sent to an unauthorized user
- Special hardware analyzes all EduTracker Internet traffic and prevents attempts at breaching security
EduTracker server is located in the IBM Data Center in downtown Atlanta . This center provides the server with redundant high-speed connections to the Internet, a backup generator capable of running for 40 days, an advanced climate control system, and five levels of physical security.
